Freddy Krueger! I made this guy for a friend of a friend. I’m sad to see him go, he’s my favorite villian.

This is Stein. I wanted to make kind of a Dr. Frankenstein’s Monster, but then my sister pointed out that i forgot the neck bolts, so i decided he’s Dr. Frankenstein’s Zombie. I have wanted to do some rag doll type of sewn together Monkeys. I have a lot of sock parts that don’t have pairs, most likely due to the way I make my zombies with one alternating leg or arm. SO… Stein was born this week and finished today… I will be doing colorful rag dolls in the future. :)
Pumpkin head monkeys! I’ve had sketches of these in my idea book for a couple years now. I decided this was the year. I’m working on zombies and skeletons, too. There should be lots to come this next month.

New Monkey today… Rex, Baby Sock Monkey.
I’ve been working on my other store and adding my button jewelry. I’ve been making this stuff since 2008, have put it online, taken it off, never happy with the photos. FINALLY, got some good shots. I didn’t want to clutter my monkey shop, so I’m using one of my old stores. Cleaning out my crafting shed I found so many buttons, and I keep getting buttons… I was inspired by other people using buttons to make jewelry and wanted to make my own style of the accessories. Fully inspired… I even whipped up some new items this week.
